Information For Parents
Welcome to the parents section of Star Cats.
Safety and Security
Whilst the Internet is a great place for learning it is also a place to tread carefully. You might consider placing the computer in a central place so you can check when your child is using the computer. Here are some safety tips it might help to talk to your child about.
- Never give out personal information to people you do not know.
- Do not use personal information for passwords.
- Be wary of files you are sent - they may contain viruses or other malicious software. Star Cats will never send you an email with any sort of attachment.
- Communicate with your child regularly about their experiences online. Encourage them to talk about their experiences and let them know they can talk to you about any worries or concerns they have.
